The Terms and Conditions below may be changed with the Mutual Agreement of both The Tenancy Clean LTD and Customer(s) enforced by First Party.
First Party Definition:
TENANCY CLEAN LTD and “WE”, “US” or “OUR” means TENANCY CLEAN LTD.
Second Party Definition:
“Customer(s)” or referred to by words “You” or “Your” means the Customer(s).
Services Definition:
ANY Services performed under the management of Tenancy Clean LTD provided within England and Wales.
By using Our Service, you Agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
A. QUOTES AND PRICES
- A.1. Any price given over the phone, by email, live chat, or shown on our website is valid only for the described property, including but not limited to SMS, Review, and Online Booking with our registered website.
- A.2. All prices provided by us include materials and equipment; parking and congestion charge may apply.
- A.3. An additional cost may apply if we must defrost the fridge or freezer if it has not already been done by the customer.
- A.4. Access to the Property or Facility, including but not limited to electricity and water, must be provided by the Customer.
- A.5. If the start or finish of the job is delayed by the Customer, there will be an additional cost of £25 per hour; this includes but is not limited to access to the property or facility.
- A.6. If only carpet cleaning is booked, there is a £100 minimum charge.
- A.7. There will be an additional cost if we must collect the keys and return them to a different address than the property address cleaned.
- A.8. We have the right to increase the price of the quote if the property is in a critical cleaning condition. Depending on how dirty the property is, we can change the price accordingly.
- A.9. All our prices include VAT, which means what you get in the quote is what you will be paying in total. We are a VAT-registered company, and we take 8% flat rate VAT, which is again included in the price.
- A.10. Parking, ULEZ, and Congestion charges are not included in the quote.
B. PAYMENTS
- B.1. We accept the following payment methods: Cash, Wire Transfer, Online booking on our website using a credit or debit card.
- B.2. Payment is cash ONLY on the day prior to performing Our Services (upfront) or the FULL amount via bank transfer/paying over the phone prior to the cleaning date.
- B.3. Payments can be made against the invoices we send you by email or ANY other form. There will be an option to pay using your card prior to performing our Services.
- B.4. Late payments will incur an additional cost of £200 per day starting from 24 hours after the cleaning. This will be notified by Our Company, where We have the full rights to file the case within the Court and/or ANY Legal department and/or ANY Collection Agency on Our behalf.
- B.5. Customer(s) may choose installment payments, which need approval from the Company. This requires booking confirmation by holding the total amount from the Customer(s) shared Credit Card and withdrawing on agreed installment durations subject to Company approval prior to Services provided.
C. INSURANCE
- C.1. TENANCY CLEAN LTD has Limited Public Liability Insurance. The policy covers any accidental damage caused by Us, if valid and reported on time prior to the completion of the clean.
- C.2. There is a £250 cap fee on accidental damage claims, which £125 is paid by the Customer and £125 is paid by Tenancy Clean LTD, subject to approval from the Company. It excludes any sabotage or theft of any items from the property. Customer(s) must ensure that no expensive item(s) are left during the services provided and have the service worker(s) under Customer supervision at all times.
- C.3. We reserve the right to refuse to share any of the Company’s confidential information.
E. CANCELLATION OF SERVICE
- E.1. We require 24-hour notice if the Customer wants to cancel, reschedule, or amend the booking.
- E.2. For cancellations by the Customer prior to the booking date before 24 hours, there is a 15% fee payable.
- E.3. For cancellations by the Customer within 24 hours, cancellation fees will be 35% of the total job value.
- E.4. Methods of cancellation: You can cancel your booking via your online booking portal, by calling our office, emailing, through the live chat during our working hours, or SMS. This includes but is not limited to ANY form of communication.
- E.5. We reserve the right to refuse any cleaning job if the condition of the property is hazardous to the health and safety or wellbeing of our operatives. If we are not made aware of this before arrival and we are unable to carry out the work as a result, the Customer will be charged 30% of the total value.
- E.6. The cleaning company has the right to cancel or reschedule a service in cases where an accident or any unexpected circumstances have befallen the assigned cleaning team without any form or amount of compensation to Customer(s).
F. PARKING SPACE AND PARKING FEE
- F.1. Parking space for the vehicle used by the cleaners must be arranged by the Customer. The parking fee is also to be covered by the Customer.
- F.2. Congestion charge: Parking, ULEZ, and Congestion charges are not included in the quote.
- F.3. If the property is within the congestion charge zone, £11.5 will be added to the total amount.
G. SHORT NOTICE ONLINE BOOKING
- G.1. We require 24 hours’ notice when booking is made online. We cannot guarantee the availability of a slot if 24 hours’ notice is not allowed by the Customer.
- G.2. We clean carpets and upholstery with powerful machines but cannot guarantee they’ll be completely dry or odor-free. For best results, ensure good ventilation and heating for 24 hours, especially in wet or cold weather.
H. MARKETING COMMUNICATION
We might, from time to time, send you promotional emails to the email address you registered with us. You can opt out of email marketing by sending us an email requesting this or by unsubscribing from our mailing list. We offer attractive bonus plans upon request if you leave a review on our website.
